Episode 217 | When Kids Have Crushes
Is your child obsessed with having a girlfriend or boyfriend? Does their infatuation with the opposite sex seem to be all they think and talk about? Are you looking to help your child view their crushes from a Christ-centered perspective? Join Alex and me for another edition of “Ask Ginger” (also known as Q & A Day) as we discuss how parents can help children process their feelings and encourage them to respond in ways that honor God.
We have a brand new episode of the Parenting with Ginger Hubbard podcast available today. Here’s a little more about what you can expect:
Episode 217 | When Kids Have Crushes: If we desire to be the person our children come to and the primary influence in their lives, we have to be approachable and willing to have conversations about whatever is on their hearts. Our children will only trust us with their thoughts and emotions if they feel safe and comfortable doing so. When children have a crush, let’s take them to the Bible for wisdom and guidance. Let’s encourage them to pour out all of their feelings and emotions to God, and let’s pray that the God who created them will give them peace, discernment and wisdom as they trust him with their future.
