Episode 198 | Sneaky Kids & Snooping Parents (Part 2)
Does your child sneak around to do things without your permission? Do you struggle to know if snooping through your child’s things is part of being a good parent or an unfair invasion of their privacy? Are you looking for practical ways to hold your kids accountable without provoking them to anger? Join Katy and me for another edition of “Ask Ginger” (also known as Q & A Day) as we continue our discussion on what’s at the heart of sneaky behavior and what parents can do to guide and encourage their children who struggle with deceitfulness.
We have a brand new episode of the Parenting with Ginger Hubbard podcast available today. Here’s a little more about what you can expect:
Episode 198 | Sneaky Kids & Snooping Parents (Part 2): As parents who are commissioned by God to guard the hearts of our children, we are to keep a watchful eye, take intentional interest, and be actively involved in everything they’re doing. We should view it as our God-given responsibility to protect the hearts and minds of our children and lead them to paths of wisdom, righteousness, and purity that are found in Christ. It is God who strengthens and sustains us to walk in his ways. When our children witness us drawing strength to live upright and godly lives from the grace and power of Jesus, it encourages them to do the same. Let’s create space for our children to come to us with their struggles and encourage them to lean into and depend fully on Jesus.
