Episode 177 | Should Parents Befriend Their Kids & When Playing is Torture
Would you like to know what the Bible says about parents being friends with their children? Do you find it boring and maybe even downright torturous to play with your kids, so you don’t…and then you feel guilty about it? Join Katy and me for another edition of Ask Ginger as we provide encouragement and insight to help you engage in play with your children and take a look at the spiritual and practical value of God’s design for the parent/child relationship.
We have a brand new episode of the Parenting with Ginger Hubbard podcast available today. Here’s a little more about what you can expect:
Episode 177 | Should Parents Befriend Their Kids & When Playing is Torture: We can and should treasure and enjoy every aspect of our relationship with our children, but the role God has given parents is completely different from the role he’s given friends. A confident, secure, emotionally stable child is a child who understands and respects God’s boundaries for the parent/child relationship. So let's be faithful to parent them well while they’re little so we can reap the harvest of God’s blessings in our relationships with them now and in the years to come.
